HyperliquidNews #16 - ICE x TradeXYZ, Anthropic $ANT, 3M Traders, HIP-4 Records

HyperliquidNews is back. Two huge weeks to restart with: the owner of the NYSE is building a U.S. perps market on Hyperliquid, Anthropic listed as a pre-IPO market within an hour of its S-1, Hyperliquid crossed 3 million traders, and HIP-3 and HIP-4 both set new records. Here is everything that happened between October 24 and November 7.

🏛️ ICE x TradeXYZ: Hyperliquid Perps Head to the U.S.

• ICE, the owner of the New York Stock Exchange, is partnering with TradeXYZ to launch a new U.S. perps market built on Hyperliquid's infrastructure.
• The market will use TradeXYZ products tracking stocks, indices, commodities, currencies and more, with its own clearing system, KYC and AML processes. It targets retail traders, with short-term exposure available 24/7, separate from ICE's institutional business.
• Billionaire investor Stanley Druckenmiller posted on X for the first time to announce his investment in TradeXYZ. Elon Musk replied that it was "interesting".
• TradeXYZ bought the $ICE ticker, now live with 10x leverage.
• The market reaction was immediate: $HYPE rose 16.14% in 2 hours 50 minutes, HYPE open interest hit a new ATH above $2.2B, 24h HYPE volume passed $3B, and HYPE/BTC reached a new all-time high.

🤖 Anthropic Lands on Hyperliquid

• Anthropic filed its S-1 registration statement for its IPO. Within the hour, TradeXYZ bought the $ANT ticker and listed it as an IPOP with 10x leverage.
• $ANT passed $10M in volume in under 5 hours, then $25M in volume, 2,350 traders and $16M in open interest within two days. Cross margin is now enabled.
• Phantom and FOMO both listed TradeXYZ's $ANT, and Paragon launched its own $ANTH market.
• Early on, one wallet kept accumulating until its long passed $5M, about 30% of $ANT's open interest.
• Where $ANT stands today: $62M in open interest, $30.9M in 24h volume and a price around $98, down from about $115 in its first days. The largest position is now a $7.83M short (12.6% of OI) opened at $114.39, sitting on +$1.29M of unrealized profit. The largest long, $4.36M opened at $116.26 with 10x leverage, is down $802K.

🏆 HIP-3 Is Breaking Records Again

• HIP-3 open interest climbed back above $4B, then set a new all-time high at $4.7B, the first record since August.
• New daily volume ATH at $9.14B, and a record 40,467 daily traders. On November 5, over half of all active traders on Hyperliquid traded at least one HIP-3 pair.
• HIP-3 has now generated more than $700B in volume and $161M in revenue, split evenly: $80.5M to deployers and $80.5M to the Assistance Fund.
• TradeXYZ passed 500,000 users, $650B in volume and $150M in fees, with half going to HYPE buybacks and burns. $XYZ100 and the official $S&P500 pair both passed 100,000 unique traders.
• EntropyIO set new records with $90.22M in open interest and $147M in 24h volume, and passed $3B in total volume.
• The TradeXYZ liquidator took over a $7.07M $GOOGL long after earnings, then $3.8M of $AMZN and $INTC longs, limiting ADL for traders.

🎯 HIP-4 Takes Off

• Total HIP-4 volume passed $500M. Weekly volume went from $29.25M in the first week of October to $93.95M last week, a 3.21x increase in under a month.
• Outcomexyz set a new 24h volume ATH four days in a row, passing $10M in a single day for the first time. It has now passed $200M in volume, 7,500 users and $100,000 in revenue, and accounted for 97.7% of HIP-4 volume on October 31.
• TradeXYZ's HIP-4 markets passed 1,000 unique traders.

🔥 Buybacks, Fees and the Assistance Fund

• The second 30-day cycle of AQA v2 ended: 15,916,968.96 USDC were sent to the Assistance Fund, 100% used to buy back $HYPE.
• The Assistance Fund has now passed 48.5M $HYPE.
• Priority fees broke every record: $4.26M in October, $510K in a single day, and 12.7% of Hyperliquid's daily revenue. If priority fees were a standalone project, they would rank 28th by 30-day revenue.
• Total fees on Hyperliquid passed $1.475B, and total builder code revenue passed $125M. MetaMask set a single-day record of $282,902, and Phantom passed 200,000 users and $30.47M in total revenue.

📈 3 Million Traders

• Hyperliquid passed 3,000,000 traders on November 1.
• Active traders hit a new ATH of 341,180, and daily traders passed 100,000 twice in 8 days.
• Total withdrawals passed $100B, and total open interest is back above $16B.
• On the other side, the stablecoin market cap on Hyperliquid fell below $6.65B, its lowest level since August 22.

🧩 Ecosystem Updates

• Pump.fun officially announced its arrival on Hyperliquid, and FOMO launched cross margin on its Hyperliquid-powered perps.
• The upcoming HyperEVM L2 Elysium announced FOMO, Pump.fun and OpenSea at launch.
• EQX Labs is deploying tokenized U.S. equities on HyperCore, and Paragon is bringing an instrument to trade pure convexity on $HYPE, with no strike or expiry.
• Liminal passed 20,000 depositors, and Intel Trade passed $100M in volume while still in private alpha.
• After the Binance hack, Unit added deposit delays to block illicit funds. Binance's HYPE holdings reached a record 2.436M $HYPE, and HYPE deposits and withdrawals should reopen by the end of next week.

🏢 DATs and ETFs

• $PURR had a wild ride: up 45.69% in 5 hours after the ICE news and back above 1.0x mNAV, then down to below 0.80x mNAV on November 5.
• HYPE ETFs fell below 5M $HYPE in holdings after $38.1M of outflows in October, before a first $3.7M inflow day.
• The Hyperliquid team's 179,706 unstaked $HYPE arrived and were distributed across 6 addresses, from 755 to 50,000 $HYPE each.

• Jump has now generated $101B in volume on Hyperliquid, mostly on TradeXYZ.
• The biggest oil bull holds a $146.9M long on $BRENTOIL and $CL on $18.5M of equity, around 8x.
• $SOXL dropped 38.5% in 24 hours and generated $719M in volume.
